White chocolate cake
Yesterday I made this cake :I know : it looks good and yummy but actually it is not. I t is a real "étouffe chrétien"* (very heavy) and it really needs a little make over ;-) So what I will do the next time is the folowing, and trust me it is going to be really yummy this time :-)
I changed the proprotion to get a lighter cake
150 g of wheat flour
100 g of white chocolate
100 g of butter
175 g of sugar
5 eggs
Put in two different bowls the egg yolks and the egg whites meanwhile melt the butter with the chocolate.
Add the sugar to the egg yolks and mix it very energeticly with a wood spoon.
Wisk with an electric whisk the egg whites, until they are "hard"
When the yolk and the sugar is foamy add the the melted butter and melted chocolate and mix it well again with the spoon. Add a dice of rhum if you feel like it.
Then add the flour and mix with the same spoon. Mix it well.
Mix the egg whites with the rest delicatly with the wood spoon.
Cover with butter you cake tin and put the pastry in it.
Put in the oven at 6 for half an hour more or less...
Ok, this recepy is completly ununderstandable. It is a complete laught and you don't even know what I am talking about :-)
But with the photos I hope you can folow ;-)
* Thank you to the one who is going to give me the right translation! By the way, this afternoon, Titi and I are going to buy a dictionnary French-English English-French ;-)
Ciao ciao. A sloop, comme dit la bretonne ;-)
Edit conclusion : This cake it is not very good anyway, you better don't make it :-D
